I have just been notified by the school that rather than having the kids open up email accounts on their own accord, the school will provide a .peterson.mx account for the students to use for educational purposes (such as the Wikispace).
So, please don't worry about opening up an account anymore for your child.
The school will provide one with a .peterson.mx address and it will be through Gmail. Christina Bravo (head of our technology dept.) is working on getting everyone up and running with this.
